Yesterday, February 3, we went to the Chicago History Museum...
When someone mentioned it I thought "Ow, another museum! One of two: It's gonna like me too much or I'm gonna get bored..." And, fortunately, was the first. Maybe it isn't too big, it hasn't too much things... BUT It has an amazing structure and very elegant rooms;;; (Perfects to my photos!)
The artifact that I liked the most was the Train... I mean: How could be another thing? It is a wonderful piece of art. This train was made to face the increase of the population in Chicago. It is huge, I had to jump high to touch the ceiling! It has a brown color, with pieces of the same gamma inside, its shape is so elegant, with a lot of details in the floor, in corners, in the ceiling, in the outside frontage and so... The tree most important characteristics of the train was the elegant facade, the big and right construction and the correct materials used. I think this object was used with his right objective in the end of the 19 century or beginning of the 20 century.
The photograph that I liked the most was the called "Union Loop, Wabash Ave. And Van Buren St, Chicago"... Why? Because I love imagine the cities in an old time. This is exhibited in SIAM room,
